Flamingoes in Milan

Did you know that you can see flamingoes in the middle of the noisy and chaotic city of Milan, Italy?

These pretty birds with pinkish feathers live in a garden in the city centre: you can spot them in Villa Invernizzi’s back yard, in 9, Via dei Cappuccini (not far from Palestro metro station).
Go there and watch them behind the Villa’s high fence: they won’t get scared. Actually, they won’t even look at you!
They were born in captivity and they never fly away – not even in snowy wintertimes.
